Antique Koenig Brothers Scrolling Stations of the Cross - 1900s Cross Religious Catholic Early 1900s

Sorry, this item has sold.

An antique 1904 Koenig Brothers wooden Stations of the Cross and crucifix that is quite tall and unique.

This antique wood religious piece features a large cross on the top and a housing under it that has the scrolling Stations of the Cross inside it. There is a glass window on the front bottom that allows you to see the individual stations of the cross one at a time. The colored paper depictions of the 14 Stations roll by as you turn the wood knobs on the side. The pictures of the stations are very old paper and therefor delicate so care should be taken when rolling through them. There are decorative brass pieces on the front corners of the box holding the 14 Stations of the Cross.

This historic sacramental is in nice antique condition with all parts intact and wear commensurate with antique age - early 1900s. See photos for detail.

Measures about 27” tall.

In nice antique condition with wear commensurate with age - early 1900s. Some chipping on faces of women at the foot of the cross. Some wear on the frame of the glass window with the stations.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
