Vintage green textured glass decanter with a flat top matching stopper from the mid century. The decanter's surface, and the top of the stopper have a green textured coating over the clear glass, which makes it easy to grab and hold on to. There are gold accents all over this retro bar piece including 7 thin gold striped lines under the neck, a gold neck and two gold bands at the base.
The stopper has gold accent trim on three horizontal bands that are at the top just under the flat top. The very flat top surface has the textured green coating on it as well.
I am sure this little decanter had matching cordial or shot glasses at one time.
Measures 7 1/2" high with the stopper in. The red decanter alone is 6 1/2" high. The decanter has an approximate 3 3/4" diameter. The stopper is 2" in length. The round flat top of the stopper has a 2" diameter.
In nice vintage condition with no cracks. Wear commensurate with vintage age with the bottle looking nice with solid gold lines on the top, and nice gold on the neck. The gold on the two bands on the base have some wear. The stopper shows the most wear - on the gold trim, on the glass where it goes into the decanter and a chip on the very bottom of the stopper. (It cannot be seen when in the bottle.) Item's price reflects conditions.
Still an adorable green decanter that would look great on display or very stylish in use!
