Vintage / Antique Garnet Sterling Silver & Marcasite Necklace - Retro Bead Choker w/ Pendant
A vintage or antique garnet choker length necklace with a sterling silver pendant studded with faceted marcasite stones. The beads are natural garnet rounds and are approximately 4mm in size. Each gemstone bead is a slightly different size and shape as is typical of natural garnet rounds.
The silver pendant that hangs from this bead necklace has a floral motif with faceted marcasite stones accenting the shape. The decorative in the shape of its triangle bale also has a marcasite set in the center. There are a total of 25 marcasite stones used on the pendant.
The retro necklace can be worn with or without the pendant as the pendant slips on and off easily. The garnet bead necklace is 16” in length.
The pendant is about 1 1/4” long including the bale and is 1” wide.
The spring ring clasp opens and closes securely.
The spring ring clasp is marked 925 for Sterling Silver. The pendant is marked 925 for Sterling Silver on the back.
The retro necklace is in nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age.
