A beautiful set for a dressed up luncheon for three. Each of these glass pieces has a gold encrusted rim with a dainty floral and swirl pattern on it. There are also thin gold accent lines on the bases of each price as well. The handles on the cups, sugar and creamer have a wonderful curl where they are attached to the bowl sections. The gold band at the tops is about 1/3" thick. The cups have a gold band at the base. The sugar and creamer have a thin gold line on the outer edge of the base on each piece.
A smashing set - has a bit of an Art Deco feel to it!
While this is a setting for three people, there is one extra sandwich sized plate making it really 12 pieces.
In all there are 3 cups, 3 saucers, 4 sandwich plates, 1 sugar and 1 creamer.
Measurements:
plates - 8" diameter
saucers - 5 1/2" diameter
cups - 3 1/4" diameter and 2 1/4" high
sugar - 3 1/4" diameter and 3" high
creamer - 3" diameter and 3" high
All of the pieces are in nice vintage shape with no chips or cracks. Light wear on the gold commensurate with vintage age.
