A very unique vintage art glass piece in a dark amber or brown color. The pedestal dish features a twisted and curled stem in a bottom part of an “S” shape. This curled glass mid section is in a rope design that is tighter and thinner at the end where it connects to the round base, and then the rope design gets bigger/wider at the top where it connects to the dish portion.
The top has a very slightly scalloped rim and the inner portion of the bowl is textured with round shapes on the outside that are small in the center and fade out as they go up to form the bowl of this pedestal dish. This retro home decor piece has a round base that is plain glass. This art glass home decor item is hand blown as evidenced by the bubbles in the glass here and there.
This vintage brown or dark amber glass compote or pedestal dish is circa mid century. It has a lot of pizazz for a smaller sized pedestal bowl!
Measures 6" tall. The top bowl is 5 1/4" in diameter. The base has a 3 1/2' diameter.
This eye-catching retro home decor piece is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
