Wonderful round glass bowl that features the most wonderful curled glass handles and accents in and on the bowl. This Art Deco style bowl has two handles - one on each side of the round piece that are made of a piece of curled glass. The curled glass handles are about 1" wide. This piece has a bit of a Walter Von Nessen style to it or possibly a Cambridge Glass Art Deco piece from the 1920s.
Inside this bowl you can see the same curled design as you look into it as they appear in a raised shape on the sides of the bowl. These curls are in two places that are in between the two handles. The curls on the handles and the curls on the bowl meet and seem to flow from one to the next as they go from one handle to the other. Lovely!
Would make a spectacular fruit bowl, serving bowl or filled with flowers for a centerpiece. The handles are what make this bowl so different from any other.
This bowl is about 9" wide and stands about 3 1/3" high. The base has a 4" diameter.
This unique piece full of vintage personality is in nice condition with wear commensurate with vintage age - circa early 1900s.
