A beautiful vintage 8 piece barware set consisting of a decanter, stopper and six matching glasses in clear and green glass with intricate silver accents. This vintage decanter is a clear glass with ornate silver overlay on the top and emerald green glass at the base. The clear glass stopper on the top has some rings of silver overlay that match the rings on the decanter itself.
The six wine or cocktail glasses are very unique. Each glass has two scenes in silver overlay on the bowl that feature hanging clusters of grapes and some small garland shapes. They appear in two places on the bowl of each glass. There is a fine squiggly line on the top of each glass (and on the top of the decanter). The green bases have a slightly bowed shape. There is a silver line or band all around the bottom of each glass on the green base.
The decanter also features hanging grape clusters, garland shapes and the same squiggly line design on the top edge. The neck of the decanter has some lines of different widths on it near the top. The stopper also has some silver lines or rings of different widths around it. The base of the decanter is green glass and is also slightly bowed in shape.
The 6 glasses measure 4” high. The top opening has a 3 1/4” diameter.
The decanter measures 10 1/2" tall without the stopper in.
The stopper measures 3 1/2" long.
Each glass holds 6 fluid ounces.
This decanter with stopper and 6 retro wine or cocktail glasses set is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some patina and wear to the silver overlay design in various places commensurate with vintage age. See photos for detail.
