Antique TEA SERVICE Silver plate Etched Teapot Creamer & Sugar Vintage Sheffield Co #1111 - Flower Design Silverplate Tea / Coffee Pot 3 pc

$49.00

Vintage silverplate coffee or teapot with matching sugar and creamer set. This adorable etched Silver plate tea set has an Art Deco style with unique handles on each piece. It was made by the Sheffield Silver Co. and is a striking tea service that would be beautiful to use as well as being a great display piece. It is pattern #1111 as indicated on the bottom of each piece.

The SHEFFIELD SILVER CO was located in Brooklyn, NY. The company was incorporated in 1908, and its trademark registered in 1919. The company later became a part of Reed and Barton (circa 1970). This set is circa early to mid 1900s.

The handles have an ornate bit of swirl on the ends and a nice angular shape. These three pieces feature an etched flower - the flower is at the center mid section on one side. The top of the pot has a tear drop shaped knob with some lines in it. There are also some bands of etched lines in the top and near the bottom of each piece.

This is a petite sized set with the pot and the creamer being a smaller size than most and would be perfect for tea for two.

Measures:
Teapot - 7 1/2" tall to top of knob on lid. It is 6" wide from end of spout to tip of handle. Base has a 3 1/4' diameter and top opening has a 2" diameter.
Sugar - 3' high. It is 5 1/2" wide from end of handle on one side to end of handle on the other side. The base has a 3 1/2" diameter. The top opening is an oval with a 2 1/2" x 2" measurement.
Creamer - 3" high and 4 1/2" wide from end of handle to top of spout. The base has a 3" diameter and the top opening has a 2" diameter.

Hallmarked Sheffield Plate with their crown mark, MADE IN USA and the numbers 1111 on the bottom of each piece.

In nice vintage condition with slight wear on all three pieces. Silver plate is in nice condition with some wear and surface putting here and there. All three pieces have patina. They have been lightly polished but could be more polished if so desired. The creamer is slightly out of round.
Price reflects conditions.

The set is a great shabby chic piece of yesteryear!

A great one-of-a-kind item for tea or coffee for a special occasion - or just when you need to feel special!
