Vintage Mid Century Wall Sconce Mirror Dart Co Home Decor - Smoked Glass Candle Holder Gold Vertical Ornate Regency MCM 1972 Serial No 2352
A mid century mirrored wall sconce with one candle holder at the bottom center. It is a typical wall hanging made by Dart Industries in 1972 with swirls, shell shapes and an ornate outer edge typical of Hollywood Regency decor that was popular at that time. The glass in the mirror is smoked glass. The mirror is reflective and is smoked glass - see the sixth photo for the best picture of the mirror.
The Dart company hallmark and production date are on the back, Copyright, Made in the USA Homco, Dart Ind., and is dated in Roman Numerals for 1972 and has the model number 2352.
This mirrored sconce has a burnished gold finish but is really plastic.
There is a hook on the back for hanging on the wall.
The front top of this section has a center tall curved shell shape. The outer edges - the frame- have a lacy openwork all around. The mirror section is edged in a series of small beaded shapes. The single candle holder is at the bottom on a curved and embellished arm that holds one candle.
The mirror scone measures 20" high and about 7" wide. The front candle holder arm is about 4" in depth.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
