Vintage 6 Pc. Silverplate Cordial Set. They are hallmarked on the bottom.
Bottoms of the cordials say Eales of Sheffield Since 1779.
They measure 3 1/2" high.
Each cordial holds 1 ounce.
Very light wear to all 6 pieces. Were lightly polished and have a nice shine.
NOTE:
Eales of Sheffield is an English company that produced silver plated items using Sheffield plate technique. This technique uses layers of silver and copper to produce a wide range of household articles. Almost every thing once made in sterling silver was also crafted by the English Sheffield makers, who used this process to produce nearly identical wares at far less cost.
