A mid century 16" tall amethyst glass lidded jar. This retro home decor item features a beautiful amethyst color and has a classic apothecary jar shape. The top is a with a ball shaped knob on it. As this is blown glass, the round knob on the lid has some depressed areas.

This type of glass piece was popular as a home decor item in the midcentury.

Measures 16" high with the lid on and 12" high without the lid. The widest part has a 5" diameter. The base has a 4 1/3" diameter.

This dark purple glass mid century era home decor piece is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear commensurate with vintage age - circa 1960s.
