Tree Bark Marigold by Jeanette Covered Jar w/ Lid Carnival Glass Pedestal Candy Jar w/ Lid - Light Amber Iridescent Art Glass Home Decor

$16.00

A vintage Tree Bark Marigold glass covered candy jar with a lid. This piece of collectible Carnival Glass was made by the Jeanette Glass Company in the 1920s. This was called Tree Bark because the surface of this piece is textured and has a rough feel. It is iridescent so it has a nice glow, especially in the sunlight. It has a nice decorative finial on the top and the short pedestal base has a few light ribs on it.

Measures approx. 7 1/2" with the lid on. Top opening is 3 1/3" across. Base has a 2 1/2" diameter.

This retro pressed glass jar is in fair vintage condition with two chips on the rims and a chip on the top of the finial on the lid. See photos for detail. Item’s price reflects condition.

Still a sweet Carnival Glass piece for use or display!

P

**I have two of these and both have a chip on the finial and light chipping on the rims that cannot be seen when the lid is on.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
