Vintage Stainless Steel Cocktail Shaker / Server Pourer w/ Red Bakelite Handle - Retro Barware Serving Entertaining MCM

Sorry, this item has sold.

A vintage cocktail shaker/ server / pourer with a red bakelite handle. The tall serving piece is made of stainless chrome as signed on the bottom.

The red bakelite handle really makes this stand out. Bakelite was popular in the mid century and was an early plastic first discovered in 1909. This synthetic plastic was revolutionary for its electrical nonconductivity and heat-resistant properties. It was popular in the 1930s and 1940s.

The 3 pieces on this cocktail shaker and pourer are the container itself, the lid on the top and the screw on end for the spout.

Measures 12' tall with the lid on and 10 1/2" without the lid on. This Retro era cocktail server/shaker is 8" wide from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. It is very lightweight (when not filled with your favorite cocktail!)

This retro barware item is in nice vintage condition - all pieces are intact with slight wear - looks like it didn’t get much use. Perfect for your next party!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
