6 Vintage Iced Tea Water Glasses w/ 4 Gold Bands & Paneled Ribbed Bowl / Sides - Elegant Large Water Goblets - Set of Six Retro Drinkware
Set of six clear glass colored water or iced tea glasses with gold bands and a gold rim on the edge of the bases. There is a somewhat wider gold band at the very top edge of the rim, and just below that are four thin gold lines. Around the base of each glass there is a thin gold line of accent trim. The sides of these uniquely shaped glasses are paneled giving the elegant set an optic effect. The shape of this retro stemware is very different as there is really no stem. The glasses gently taper down to the round base but still retain a 2" diameter at the very bottom. While this makes the glasses have a large capacity (iced tea size), they are still lightweight and delicate in the hand.
The set of six glasses are circa 1940s in age.
Each retro iced tea glass is 5 3/4 in tall. The top opening has a 3" diameter and the bases have a 2 1/2" diameter.
No markings on the bottom of these hand blown glasses - the manufacturer is unknown.
The set of six is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear to the gold bands - still look wonderful.
