Vintage Price Kensington of England off-white and burnished gold teapot with the design of dark blue flowers with orange accent leaves. One side has a slightly different floral pattern than the other on this English teapot. I believe his is circa mid century in age.
The upper rim of the teapot has an apron that is quite wide and has a bit of a scalloped edge.
The top knob on the lid, the spout, the top apron edge, the base, and the handle are all this bronzed or burnished gold color. The purplish blue flowers and their leaves are all outlined in the gold as well giving them more definition.
Measures 4” high to the top of the knob on the lid and is about 9” wide from spout to handle.
The bottom is embossed Made in England Hamilton, stamped in green Price Kensington and is hand marked 28 37 W in black.
The teapot comes in nice vintage condition without any chips or cracks. There is lots of crazing all over, both inside and outside this vintage teapot. Condition is consistent with vintage age of this item. The bronze / gold accent trim is in nice shape overall with some color loss on the knob on the lid - see photos for detail.
