This is a vintage pair of silver metal candle holders that have an oval base. The bases have a depression or line on them that goes across the bases like an X shape. The pair of medium to lower height candlestick holders hold a regular sized taper. The candle holders are weighed to keep them steady - very sturdy set of two candlestick holders!

The pair are marked with SP inside a shield shape 132 ANT. LEAD on the bottoms, and are circa mid century.

Measure 431/2" high. The bases are an oval that measures 3 3/4” x 2 3/4”. They each weigh close to a pound.
