Vintage Brass Metal Basket w/ Handle Faux Verdigris Green & Black - Grape Cluster on Handles Oval Shape - Home Decor Italy
A retro basket that is a mottled teal green and black color with a brass handle and some decorative brass grape clusters and a brass edge trim. The teal and black mottled (like a faux verdegris) basket has a little round pedestal base at the bottom. The thin brass handle section is made of small rounds and looks like a beaded design. There are a cluster of brass grapes with a little curled vine attached on either side of the brass handle on the outside. The very edge of the basket has a 1/4” wide brass rim.
The shape of the basket itself is an oval with the handles on the upturned (or folded up) section.
The home decor basket measures approx. 11 1/2“ high to top of the handle. The oval shaped basket itself is about 12" x 8".
In nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age - circa 2000. There is a silver metal seam on the base and a sticker that says MADE IN ITALY. See photos for detail.
