Lovely decanter in amazing vintage condition. Features a very nice mod shape (long and slender modern design) and a long stopper. Danish modern look to this clear glass piece of barware.

This listing is for a vase designed by Bo Borgström (1929-2015) and manufactured by Åseda Glasbruks in Åseda, Sweden.
Size: 8 1/2'' tall (without stopper), bottom is 4'' across, top opening is 1 1/4'' across.
Condition: Clear glass in very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks but when you look closely at the top (near the stopper), there are some small indents and imperfections that occurring during manufacture. They are smooth to the touch.
Bo Hugo Roland Borgström, a ceramicist who graduated from Konstfack in Stockholm (1947-1951), joined Åseda in 1960 and became its chief designer. He also worked for Iittala where he designed, among other things, whiskey glasses. In his retirement, Borgström moved to Smygehamn outside Trelleborg and continued his ceramics work. Åseda Glasbruk ceased operations in 1977.
