Vintage Aqua Blue Glass Candy Candy Jar w/ Lid - Thumbprint Scalloped Lid Storage Jar Container Table Display Decoration - Retro Home Decor

$34.00

Nice vintage candy jar with a lid that I believe is in the Yorktown pattern made by Federal Glass in the 1960s. The pattern has thumbprint of oval rounded impressions all over it. The lid has smaller ones and has a scalloped edge. The knob on the lid is round with a tapered top and has some slightly paneled sides as it tapers up. The color is a great turquoise blue - some would say cerulean.

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some wear on the inner lid section and bottom commensurate with vintage age - mid century circa 1960s. There are tiny bubbles in the glass here and there typical of glass items in the mid century. Still looks very eye-catching!

Measures 6" high to the top of the knob on the lid. It is 5 1/2" in diameter at the widest part. The bowl section alone without the lid is 4 1/2" high.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
