A shell pink Lombardi bowl that was made by Jeannette Glass Company from the 1950s. This piece has a unique oval shape with some high scalloped edges on the rim. There are four short pedestal legs on the bottom that curl up and form little feet for this very very light pink vintage piece of glass home decor from the mid century. The outside has an embossed (raised) design of flowers and leaves with a textured background all around the floral/leaf designs. The outer end edges bend outward slightly.
The inside has a raised flower and leaf design in the very center of the oval shaped bowl that has a plain or shiny pink glass background. Not all the Lombardi bowls by Jeannette had the raised design in the inside bottom, this one does however.
Measures 10 3/4' long and is 5" tall to top of the highest scalloped edges. It is 7" wide.
For its size, this is a heavy piece - weighs 3 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
In nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with an item that is circa 1950s. Some black spots on the underside of the pedestal legs. See photos for detail. Item’s price reflects condition.
Still a great piece of retro home decor!
