Striking vintage black glass bowl (or dish) with a silver accent designs on the top. The bowl is slightly curved and has a set of square shaped handles on one side. The other two sides have a set of two scalloped raised edges that are at the same height as the handles. On the top of the black glass bowl are two silver floral designs on the glass. They are of a set of 4 flowers with long stems and leaves that are on either side of the bowl - the sides with the scalloped raised edges. Very retro and very eye-catching bowl.
I believe this is a Smith Glass piece in their line of Black by Smith Glass home decor pieces. These items were black glass and some featured a platinum floral pattern such as this bowl with the cupped edge and two handles.
It is 9" across and is 2 1/4" high.
Weighs 1 1/4 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
It is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some wear and scratching on the silver flower designs and on the surface commensurate with vintage age. See photos for detail.
