Vintage Princess Amber by Indiana Glass Candy Dish Dark Amber Candy Jar w/ Lid, Brown Jar Lidded - Retro Home or Kitchen Decor

Sorry, this item has sold.

A vintage Princess Amber lidded candy jar made by Indiana Glass circa 1970 to 1990. I believe they actually referred to this as a candy box. It is a beautiful amber or dark brown glass candy dish that is round with an arrow pointed shaped knob on the lid. Displays beautifully in bright light.

This pattern features criss cross and vertical lines. The sides of this glass dish are sturdy and a little thicker than many other of this type of mid century candy jar or dish. The finial on the lid comes to a point and is really an eye-catching part of this Retro Era home decor piece.

This round candy bowl with lid measures 6" in diameter and 6" high with the lid on (including the pointed top of the lid).

It is in nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age. A smooth feeling chip on the inner lid from use - see photo closeup. Item's price reflects condition.

The jar is really still just beautiful!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
