A wonderful vintage oval serving bowl in the Coupe pattern that was made by Noritake China in Japan circa 1930. The pattern features a black band, gold flowers an leaves on an off-white or cream colored background. The very bottom oval on the bowl is a white oval, while the sides are an off-white with a fine gold line of trim. The floral band around the top edge is gold and has a black band beneath it. A very handsome pattern by Noritake, a well-known Japanese maker of fine china.

Measures approx. 10 1/2" long by 7" wide. Is about 2 1/2" high.

In nice vintage condition with little wear to the gold trim - looks very nice, especially for its age.

Gold Hallmark with an "M" for Morimura in a wreath, crowned by "NORITAKE CHINA" and below "Made in Japan". This mark dates the piece to the 1930s.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
