Different vintage pocket vase or wall vase that is made of an off-white ceramic with lively green trim and colors in the hand painted design.
Made in Italy on the back. It has a shape that reminds me of an upside down umbrella. Small diamond and circle shapes are cut out of the rim of the scalloped holder to make a type of lattice work that is often referred to as pierced porcelain.
The front has a scalloped holder that opens for you to place some flowers in. It has paintings of a man (a gondola type of persona) a butterfly, a house, a tree, and there is a large green bow (ceramic) on the top portion as well as a green ceramic ribbon wrapped around the bottom point.
There is a wire on the back this so that you can hang it up easily.
Measures approx. 14" long and is about 7" across at the widest point. is about 3 1/2" deep.
Great vintage condition with some light wear here and there. Please see the bottom green ribbon where it may have been repaired - I didn't even notice until I took the photos. Item’s price reflects this condition.
