Vintage Coffee Pot w/ Lid - Kensington Ironstone England Pottery Light Tan & Brown Canterbury - Handcrafted English - Retro County Cottage

$25.20 $28.00

Lovely vintage beige and brown trimmed coffee pot with a lid made by Kensington Pottery of Staffordshire, England. This handcrafted ironstone coffee pot has a lid with a round finial that is trimmed with a brown line around the top. The pitcher or jug section itself has a line of brown trim all around the upper edge and the spout. Then handle has an angular shape. There are panels on the sides of this vintage piece and a little row of vertical impressions all around the top about 1/3" of the way down the piece. I believe this pattern is called Canterbury.

The bottom is marked with a brown stamp KENSINGTON STAFFORDSHIRE IRONSTONE HANDCRAFTED ENGLAND. The words MADE IN ENGLAND are embossed around the bottom as well.

Measurements:
7" high without the lid on
8 1/3" high with the lid on
6 1/2" across from the tip of spout to end of handle

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. slight bit of crazing commensurate with age - circa mid century.

Looks great!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
