Ashtrays 2 Heavy Crystal or Glass Brass Tone Ashtrays w/ Cherub Base - Pair Ashtrays on Brass-colored Base - Mid Century

Sorry, this item has sold.

Mid Century heavy glass and cherub pieces of pressed glass that are ashtrays. The pair of heavy glass ashtrays are mounted on a gold or brass (not sure) painted cast metal cherubs riding dolphins that were most likely made in Italy in the 1960s. There is only one spot to rest the cigarette on each ashtray.

Measurements - the ashtray sections are a little over 4 1/2" diameter, the overall height is nearly 7 inches. The bases are about 3 1/2" in diameter.

The pair are quite heavy as the glass is thick and the bases a sturdy metal.

There are no chips or cracks on the glass. There is some wear and tarnish consistent with age on the metal cherub sections of the ashtrays. There is felt on the bottom of one of these mid century but it has worn off on the other.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
