Vintage Antique Pitcher Jug w/ Handle - Silverplate Shabby / Cottage Chic Home Decor - Colonial Silver Company No 1665 - Ca Early 1900s

$30.00

This very unique silver plate coffee pot or pitcher that is hallmarked for the Colonial Silver Company on the bottom. It is a brass thermal pitcher and has an insulated inner wall. The COLONIAL SILVER COMPANY was located in Portland, ME and took over the the Stevens Silver Co. in 1899. Colonial Silver Company was in business until 1943. This little coffee pot is circa early 1900s.

The surface features a silver plate exterior with tiny rows of rounds at the top all around the upper opening and the same rounds making a circular knob on the lid as well. The handle shape makes it easy to grasp. Has a rustic look to it as it is very worn and has lots of patina. The four pedestal feet are quite ornate on this little pot and feature a leafy flower design.

This vintage pitcher has a handle on one side and a spout on the other. The lid is attached and is on a hinge.

This shabby chic brass pitcher that is circa mid century stands 9" high. From the handle to the top of the spout, it is 5 1/2" across.

Quite adorable and functional as well.

In fair vintage condition with lots of wear and patina that is commensurate with vintage age. On the front bottom there are three large depressions. See photos for detail.

Marked COLONIAL SILVER COMPANY QUADRUPLE PLATE 1665 on the bottom.
