4 Vintage Hand Blown Sherbet Dessert Champagne Glasses by Denby - Four Olive Green / Amber Ca 1970s Glasses Mid Century Modern / Mod Design

Sorry, this item has sold.

Arabesque by Denby sherbet or dessert glasses.

Set of 4 vintage sherbet, champagne or dessert glasses with ambler bowls and stems. The amber or dark olive is a great color typical of the colors used for kitchens popular in the 1970s, and appropriate for use year round. They were discontinued in 1979.

Features a flat/square shaped bowl. Glass is heavy and I believe hand blown as evidenced by a pontil on the bottom, air bubbles here and there on some pieces and the slight size and color variation between glasses - some are more brown; others have more of a greenish cast.

Measure approx. 4 1/2" high. Top opening has a 3 1/2" diameter. Base has a 2 1/2" diameter.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Fairly heavy (each glass weighs 11 oz.) with elegant feel in the hand.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
