Vintage Brass Round Bowl - Round Brass Orb with Ribs / Panels - Decorative Brass Bowl Centerpiece - Home Decor Circa 1970-80s - India
Beautiful brass bowl with ribbing all around it. This orb shaped decor piece was made in India as evidenced by the label on the bottom that is still intact. It has somewhat of a look of a pumpkin at it has panels or ribs all around it - a total of 30 in all. A great retro home decor piece that has some shine and could be further polished if so desired.
Most likely a circa 1970s to 1980s piece.
Measures about 6 1/2" high. Bottom base has a 4" diameter. Top opening is 5" across. This round bowl is approx. 6 1/2" across at its widest point - the middle section.
A faded and discolored original sticker is still into the bottom - see last photo. IT says "Style 140 Size Comp Brass Indian Origin".
This retro ribbed brass bowl is in nice vintage condition with patina and light signs of wear in various places. Inside there is a lot of patina - see photos.
Still quite an eye-catcher!
