Vintage McCoy Pottery Pink / Salmon Vase - Two Handle Vase w/ Embossed Design Circa 1940 Art Deco Pottery Vase by McCoy
This beautiful McCoy pottery vase is in a soft pink / salmon color. It has two handles attached low on the body of the vase. Both the front and the back side have an embossed leaf design in the center. Bottom has the McCoy stamp impressed on it. Smooth satin finish.
Measures 8" high. Top opening is about 4 1/3" in diameter. Bottom has a 4" diameter. Handle to handle is about 4 1/2" across.
This retro vase is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Bottom of the interior has some discoloring from use consistent with vintage age - circa 1940s.
There is a small bit of material under the glaze on the top rim - it was most likely there in production. There is an area at the bottom of uneven color under the glaze where there are drips of color - the color is not even and this appears to be done in production. The drips on the rather uneven color application can be felt as they are slightly raised. See photos for detail.
Some use marks on the bottom as one would expect a vintage item from the 1940s - see last photo.
