Vintage Brass Chinese teapot with hexagonal shape. It has a different figure rendered in enamel on each of the 6 sides. Colorful enameled figures are in bold shades of red, green, blue, pink, turquoise and orange.
Below the figures, one of which is a woman, is some Chinese writing - the red says Hwang and Jong; the green says Guan and Gong; the pink says Maa and Chau; the blue says Jaw, Tzyy and Long; the turquoise (woman figure) says Diau and Charn; another blue says Jang Fei. Red rectangular border with a design are on the top and bottom of each of the 6 panels.
The bottom is stamped "Made in Taiwan" along with stylized Chinese characters. The top is embossed with foliage and fits into the teapot. Great leaf two-branch designs where the handles attach to the pot.
Measures 4 1/2" high and about 5" from side to side including the spout. It stands approx. 6 1/4" tall with handle in up position.
In nice vintage condition with patina all over.
