Vintage Woodcutter Wall Hanging Chalkware Frontiersman Shabby Chic Americana - Large Tall Woodsman w/ Rifle Mid Century Plaque

$25.00

Lovely wall hanging made of chalkware of a woodsman sharpening his axe on a grinding stone. His faithful dog watches and his Kentucky long rifle lies near his wood cutter. A small pile of wood is in the bottom of the scene near the dog. The wood cutter wears a bright reddish pink top, green pants and brown tall boots. The background is browns and tan colored.

Great piece of typical mid century Americana. Perfect for cottage or shabby chic home decor. Has a ring to hang it on the wall on the top of the back.

Measures approx. 17" high and 5" wide.

In great vintage condition with no chips or cracks in the piece itself. Some wear and light chipping to the paint as would be expected this age chalk ware wall hanging, which is most likely mid century or earlier, making it a great shabby chic wall decor item from the mid century.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
