LARGE Vintage Violin Shelf Wall Home Decor - Gold Ivory & Black Shelf - Mid Century Shabby Chic Music Kitsch Wall Hanging
One of a kind wall shelf that is chalkware in a violin shape with three shelf spaces inside it. It has an ivory background and gold accents for the strings, tuning knobs and trim around the edges and bottom. The inside of the three shelf compartments are black. The sides of the base of the violin (not the handle portion) are textured to appear to be like wood.
This retro wall hanging is a unique and very mid century shabby chic or Hollywood Regency decor item.
The back of this wall shelf violin has a hook for hanging that is inside the chalkware. The back shows its age!
This wall art piece measures approx. 22 " long. The widest part at the bottom is approx. 8" wide. Violin is about 3" deep at the deepest spot - the base of the violin (bottom compartment) with the gold lip.
A pretty hefty weight piece - about 7 lbs - as it is chalkware and large.
This mid century chalk ware piece is in nice vintage condition with wear all over in various places and slight chipping.
