Vintage Mid Century Covered Bowl / Dish 2 Handles - Turquoise White Gray Stripe Pattern - Retro Kitchen Dining Serving Entertaining Funky
Vintage and very mid century mod covered serving dish or bowl. This piece is circa 1940-60s and features a turquoise blue/green base or bowl and a striped lid. The lid is white, gray, dark turquoise and light turquoise stripes across the lid. The knob on the lid is a wide circle that is raised about 1/3" high. The large oval handles are on each side of the dish and really make it a great looking piece.
The bottom of this lidded serving dish or bowl is stamped with a capital letter "H" for the maker, but I am not sure what company used this hallmark.
It measures approx. 9 1/2 " across from tip of handle to the end of the handle on the other side. The diameter of the bowl section is 7", and the lid has a 5" diameter. The bowl is 4" tall with the lid on.
This retro bowl with a lid is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear on the bottom as would be expected an item that is from the mid century - see photos for detail.
