A great vintage sterling silver locket that is in a clam or seashell shell shape on a box link sterling silver chain. The locket is marked 925 for Sterling Silver in the center of the inside shell.
This locket can be purchased either with or without the genuine gray pearl charm. The pearl is 7 1/2mm in size and is on a sterling silver wire.
This uniquely shell shaped larger sized locket features impressions of a shell designs on both front and back. The locket hangs nicely from its vintage box link sterling chain. Locket closes securely.
The locket is in nice vintage condition with wear consistent with vintage age - circa mid century. Inside of the locket has more patina.
The box link sterling silver chain is marked 925 and has an "S" shaped hallmark on the loop. Chain clasp closes securely.
Locket measures approx. 1" long (not including the bale loop) and 1" wide. It is about 1/4" deep.
Vintage sterling box link chain is 16" long.
Weighs 8.6 grams with both locket and chain.
