BRADLEY HUBBARD Antique Brass Round Tobacco Humidor Decorative Knob on Lid - Vintage Round Bradley & Hubbard MFG Co Brass Container w/ Lid

Sorry, this item has sold.

Antique tobacco humidor by Bradley and Hubbard that is a brass base and lid with a sliver metal knob on the top. This item, which is circa 19, is in very nice condition and still quite shiny. See NOTE below about the Bradley & Hubband Co.

It is stamped on the bottom "BRADLEY & HUBBARD MFG Co" and has their hallmark in the center.

The round container is brass and the knob a silver tone metal that is a cone shape or like a closed flower petal.

The container opens and closes with a VERY tight fit. Stays closed when the lid is in place.

It is some wear and a few dings but is in amazing condition considering it's age which would be some time prior to 1940.

Measures 5 1/2" tall to top of silver knob on the lid. It has an approx. 4" diameter. The base alone is 3" tall and the lid (without including the knob) is about 1 1/4" tall.

NOTE:
The Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Company was reorganized from a former company in 1875. The company grew rapidly throughout the 1880's. By the 1890's, the Bradley and Hubbard name was synonymous with high quality and artistic merit. Their products were marketed not only in their own showrooms in New York, Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia, but also by a force of salesmen traveling throughout the country and by the large retail firms of Marshall Field & Company, Sears and Roebuck & Company, and Montgomery Ward & Company. The Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Company survived the Great Depression, but after 88 years in business, it was sold in 1940 to the Charles Parker Company.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
