Beautiful large sized round antique gold filled pendant that has the monogram FGP in an old cursive font on the front. This pendant was once a locket, but the clasp was broken and it would not stay closed. It has been sealed shut with a clear non toxic artisan epoxy resin. Inside the sealed pendant is a real (dried) four leaf clover - see last photos.
The pendant was once a locket but the clasp was broken. It was hallmarked inside on the frames for the WSB Company.
The back side of the monogrammed pendant is plain with no design.
The round pendant is 2" in diameter - it is large. The antique piece hangs from vintage gold tone metal specialty chain that is 24" in length. The chain has flat links and is very sturdy. While it is long enough to go over the head, the chain has a spring ring clasp.
The large FGP monogrammed pendant medallion is circa early 1900s.
Inside this antique locket was one photo frame that was hallmarked with W. S. & B which is the mark for the W & S Blackington Company. This company was started by two brothers in 1865, and was a manufacturer of gold jewelry. It was located in Meriden, CT
Gold filled pendant on the vintage gold tone metal specialty chain is in nice vintage or antique condition with some age appropriate patina and wear on both the locket and the chain - see photos for details.
