An antique 10K rose gold ring that features a central round faceted garnet and 12 small seed pearls. It is in the jeweler’s box labeled Frisch Bros. of Buffalo, NY. Frisch Brothers was founded by Gustav Frisch and his brother, Fredrick around 1900, and operated by their family until the late 1980s. The store was located on Genesee St. in the city.
The central round faceted red stone is prong set in the middle of this early 1900s era ring. The 12 tiny seed pearls are both above and below this central garnet. There are 6 pearls in a triangular shape above the garnet and 6 below. The seed pearls are all different sizes and have slightly different colors on this antique ring.
The width of this ring’s front is 9mm wide and it is 15mm long.
On the band on the ring’s shoulders, there are 2 decorative curved shapes that curl into each other. Behind this shape are 3 small rounds stacked with 1 under the other 2. These shoulders add wonderful detail, typical of jewelry in the late Victorian era.
The garnet is approximately 6.5mm in size. The garnet stone is most likely lab created.
The ring is circa early 1900s.

In nice antique condition with wear commensurate with vintage age - early 1900s. All of the tiny seed pearls vary in size and color - see photos for detail.
The box is lined in green velvet and has a mother of pearl push button closure. It is marked Frisch Bros Jewelers Buffalo on the satin interior lining. The ring box cover is a tan and light green plaid that is very faded - not surprising as it most likely about 100 years or more in age.
NOTE:
++ It is important to note that as with all antique/vintage pearl rings, water will weaken the adhesive and compromise the mounting of the seed pearls. It is also recommend to avoid strenuous activity when wearing this type of antique ring. Storage inside the original box is also advised as it is best to keep pearls from rubbing against other jewelry pieces. ++
