Vintage Chalkware St. Anthony w/ Christ Child Statue Religious Columbia Statuary - Chippy Large Retro Holy Saint Catholic Statue Shabby Chic

Sorry, this item has sold.

Vintage statue of Saint Anthony who carries a child in one hand and a white lily in the other. His face has fine detail and a serene look. The bottom of this statue has the original sticker from the Columbia Statuary.

This saint has light brown hair in a ring with a bald top typical of depictions of St. Anthony. He wears a long brown robe and the Christ child wears a salmon pink colored garment. St. Anthony hold a lily which is a tradition in Christian art to use lilies as a symbol of purity when portraying Our Lady or the Saints and angels.

The base and bottom of the statue show little wear. The faces have some chipping of paint, most prominently on the Christ child's face. See photo close ups.

Measures approx. 13" high. Base is 3 1/2" square.

In nice vintage condition with no cracks. Some paint chipping as would be expected a vintage Chalkware statue that is circa 1950s.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
