Vintage Turner Wall Accessory French Republic Cavalary Officer Framed Glass Print - Mid Century Retro Home Decor - Wall Hanging
Wonderful picture that is titled "French Republic 1792-1800 - Cavalry Officer" in a decorative black and gold frame made by Turner Co. The frame is a painted wood with a black center portion and a gold foil inner and other trim that gives this wall hanging depth.
This mid century Turner of Chicago wall hanging is done in turquoise and yellow/gold tones and goes beautifully with both shabby chic and Hollywood Regency decors.
The print is signed but I am unable to make out the artist's name.
The wall hanging measures 14" long x 12" wide. About 1 1/2" deep.
The original vintage backing paper with the name of the Turner company and a description of their business is still intact. It says TURNER WALL ACCESSORY and then a lot of text under that - see photo of back. This is stock #14141.
Overall, in very good vintage condition with light wear (except for on the back where you can tell its age) for a vintage age item that is probably mid century - circa 1960s.
