A round etched vintage sterling silver locket that is on an 18" long sterling silver curb chain. The front is etched with two flowers with sprigs of leaves, two intertwined hearts, and a bird in flight. The bird and the flowers have a copper finish on them providing contrast. The whole outside of this retro round locket is etched with a scalloped design. The back of this locket is plain with a matte finish. There are two round photo wells inside the locket.
The locket is in nice vintage condition with light wear consistent with vintage age - 1970 to 1980s. There is more wear on the back than the front - see photos for detail. The locket closes securely.
The chain is marked STERLING and has a pictorial hallmark (triangle with an S inside). The spring ring clasp on the chain closes securely.
The locket is marked SS and some other letters I am unable to distinguish on the bale.
Locket measures approx. 7/8" long ( including the bale) and about 3/4" wide.
Vintage sterling curb link chain is 18" long.
Weighs 6.8 grams with both locket and chain.
