Antique Hand carved Cameo Pendant 925 Necklace or Brooch on Sterling Silver 925 Chain - Victorian Carved Shell Cameo Pin & Pendant Necklace
A sweet antique Sterling Silver and carved shell cameo pendant or brooch with a unique twisted silver wire frame on an 18" sterling chain. The twisted silver design gives the frame a bit of sparkle. The cameo itself has a pin closure on the back so it can be worn as a pin or brooch as well. When worn as a brooch, the long "S" shaped bale goes behind the cameo frame, which is about 1/4" deep.
This antique cameo pendant/brooch is marked 925 for Sterling Silver on the back.
Measurements:
Cameo - 1'' long including the bale and 5/8" wide at widest point.
Chain - 18" Linked chain is marked 925 Italy and RCI. Chain has a lobster clasp.
Weighs a total of 7.1 grams (including necklace chain).
In nice Antique condition with some patina and wear on the silver wire frame commensurate with antique condition. See photos for detail.
