Vintage Set of 3 SCHOTT-ZWIESEL Verran Collection Glass Footed Coffee Mugs / Cups - Made in Denmark - Danish Modern Mod Glasses
A vintage set of three Schott Mainz Jena (Jenaer) clear glass coffee cups made in Germany. They feature a great U shaped handle on the side and a body that is slightly tapered as it goes from the bottom to the top. These lightweight glass mugs or cups feel great in the hand - an elegant way to sip your beverage of choice!
The stamp and hallmark SCHOTT can be seen in the bottom of each one while drinking. This style is one of the many from the company's Verran Collection made in Jena, Germany. Jenaer Glass makes among the finest consumer glass items in the world with many of these items considered works of art, with some on display in renowned art museums.
SCHOTT-ZWIESEL began making these cups or mugs in 1930 and continued production for many years. They have since been discontinued.
A great mod retro set of clear glasses that are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
They measure 3 7/8" high. The top opening has a 2 5/8" diameter.
Bottom of glasses says SCHOTT.
