Vintage / Antique Garnet Necklace - Double Strand Retro Garnet Bead Choker Necklace - Round Red Gemstone Garnet Beads - Boho Jewelry Choker
A retro choker necklace made of more than 300 antique garnet beads of approx. 3 mm in size each. While they are all approx. 3 mm in size, there is some variation among the stones that creates a wonderful Boho look.
These two strands of garnets have been strung together on a purple cording to create this lovely necklace. There is a silver toned old fashioned type of sliding loop lock type of clasp at the end. The beads are round (not faceted) and are of varying shapes and sizes - see photo closeup. These are quite old - best guess is circa 1920s.
The beads test as garnet on a Presidium gem tester.
Measures 16" in length.
In nice vintage/antique condition. Clasp works well.
