Vintage Coffee Pot Brown Stoneware - Retro Tall Dark Brown China Pot w/ Handle Ivory Interior - Mid century Mod Modern Coffee Pot with Lid
Wonderful dark brown stoneware coffee pot from the mid century - mod design typical of the Eames era. This coffee pot has an ivory interior and a great tall shape that features a set of rims at the base giving it a unique look. There is a small bit of the ivory that shows around the lid that provides definition for the lid section. It is stamped JAPAN in a faint hallmark on the bottom. I believe this to be circa 1950s.
The brown stoneware finish has a mottled look giving it a bit of texture. The lid has a small knob on the top and a hole for letting steam escape.
This dark brown coffee pot with an ivory/white inside measures approx. 10" high with the lid on. It is 9" high without the lid. The top opening has a 3 1/2" diameter. The span from the end of the handle to the tip of the spout is 9" across (wide).
No chips or cracks. In nice vintage condition with light wear commensurate with this coffee pot's mid century age. Looks great!
