Vintage Large Oval Cameo Locket Necklace - Pink Cameo Locket in Gold Tone on Gold Tone Chain - Retro Pendant Necklace Photo Compartment
A lovely pink shell cameo locket pendant on a gold tone chain. The vintage locket pendant has a very detailed carved pink cameo set into an elaborate gold tone frame with roses at the top and on both sides. The reverse of the pendant is plain with a matte finish. The bale has some nice decorative design on it. Inside the locket, there is one spot for a photo that has the plastic liner intact behind its frame that holds the photo in place. The cameo appears to be a carved shell cameo, not one made of resin.
The retro cameo locket closes with a snap.
The spring ring closure opens and closes securely.

The locket no including the bale measures 1 .5" x 1.25" and is about 5/8" deep. It hangs on a 18" unmarked gold tone chain.
This photo locket is in nice vintage condition. The gold tone plating is bright and intact on the front, some wear on the reverse side commensurate with vintage age. Most likely circa 1970s.
