Vintage Hull Cream Pottery Mardi Gras Art Pottery Vase 48-9 Crinkle Texture - Art Deco Unique Mod Mid century Home Decor Matte White Vase

Sorry, this item has sold.

Vintage 1940s Hull Mardi Gras Granada art pottery vase with two handles in an off white/ivory color with a unique crackle or crinkle in the pottery. The crackle parts have a grey blue color and are throughout the whole vase - interior and exterior. The Finish is a matte glaze.

This Hull vase also features an Art Deco form with a slender side shape - it is not a round vase. The bottom reads USA and some numbers and letter that look like 48-9. This vase pattern, Mardi Gras, was produced between 1938 and 1947.

Perfect addition to the contemporary urban home decor. Made in the U.S.A.

Measures approx. 9" tall, 6" wide at widest point and is 3 1/2" deep. Base oval is 4 7/8" x 3 1/2".

Weighs 2 1/2 lbs. before packaging for shipment - on the hefty side for its size.

In nice vintage condition with no cracks. Upon close inspection, there is a flea bite chip on the rim - is hard to see. Wear on bottom as would be expected an item from the 1940s.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
