Vintage Ashtrays Hallmarked Rectangular Shape Stacking Ash trays w/ Violet Flower Design- Mid century Hand Painted Matching Floral Dishes
Set of three matching and stacking China ashtrays from the mid century. Each one is in the shape of a rectangle and has a beautiful painted cluster of violets in the center. There is gold trim on the edges of each dish.
The center of each ashtray in this stack of three has a cluster of violets and green leaves. The edges and cigarette rests are lined in gold as is the edge of the holder. The holder has a violet sprig on each of the 4 corners. Made in Japan and hand painted in the mid century when imports from Japan were prevalent.
A hallmark stamp is on the back of each one and the all have MADE IN JAPAN on them.
The three ashtrays are all the same size and fit one on top of the other.

ashtrays - 2" x 3 1/3"
All in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some light wear on the gold edging on each piece - see photos for detail.
