Sorry, this item has sold.

A great piece of the past to adorn your door with a truly distinctive vintage look that is probably circa 1970s when the USA celebrated its Centennial. This retro brass door knocker is of an eagle with its head to one side and with a ribbon banner in its mouth. The Eagle clutches the traditional arrows and laurel leaves in its talons. When the knocker portion comes down to make the knocking sound, it hits the eagle's feet. The center of the door knocker (the eagle's body) is in the shape of a shield or crest.

Minimal signs of wear, some light scratching and some very light patina.

Measures approx. 7" wide x 6" high.

Has a pictorial stamp on the back and the numbers 4004. See photos for detail.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
