Set of 6 Mid century Glasses Black & Gold Tall Tumbler Glasses - Vintage / Retro Mid Century Modern

$36.71

Sorry, this item has sold.

Set of 6 unique tumbler sized glasses from the mid century. Each has a black and gold design along the top that is that of a cliff that looks like the Prudential Insurance Co. logo type of shape that is inside a circle. This alternates with a design that is more floral. These 6 circles go around the top. Under that is a black and gold decorative and complimentary design that features leafy swirls in a crossing pattern. A very handsome set of mid century glasses.

Measurements:
Each glass is 5 1/2“ tall. The top opening has a 2 3/4“ diameter. Each holds approx. 14 oz. comfortably.

I am told that these glasses were made by Libbey in 1965 and were a commemorative set for the Prudential Company.

All six tumblers are in good vintage condition - glass is clear with no chips or cracks. Some light wear to the gold commensurate with vintage age - see photos for detail.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
